I have handed in my notice for my well-paid corporate job as a software engineer / manager, because no matter how much I earn, it seems to mean nothing as long as I know there are people starving and dying of preventable diseases. I intend to be bold by helping people see how flawed the capitalist ideal is: I have suffered from depression for a long time as a result of my inability to see past this falsity, I'd like to help other people understand this as well as raise awareness of depression/mental ilness. |
