By using a combination of proven business principles along with some bold business-rule-bending in a financially-self-sustaining business model, I will make my innovative and comprehensive new business concept a reality. My venture will serve my hybrid mission to increase awareness of and exposure to social and environmental issues, choices and opportunities in the suburbs in an empowering and positive setting that mainstreams and expedites socially- and environmentally-driven lifestyle choices and activism. |

It would be incredibly helpful to be in contact with professionals who embrace the triple-bottom-line concept and share my belief that all mission-driven organizations should be transparent and values based, regardless of their legal designation. Efforts to clarify and promote the L3C designation and provide funding and support to start-up social entrepreneurs, regardless of a non-profit designation, are critical given that even the best of financially-self-sustaining business models require seed funding, which is quite limited at this time. |
