My area of focus in the nonprofit world is or will be: eliminating social and institutional barriers, such as poverty, that rob individuals of their rights
My career in the nonprofit world: is up to 5 years long
If I could make everyone see a movie or read a book, it would be: De Nadie - Border Crossing or Life is Beautiful
This is a: movie
If I could wave a magic wand and change the world, the first bold change I would make is: Reveal that everything is connected (and I'd put more women in office)
This is how I intend to Be Bold: By believing first and foremost, that there are countless individuals with infinite energy to make change happen.

I'm going to be BOLD by refusing to believe that law school and debt means you have to compromise who you want to be and what you want to do with your new skill set. My career in law will be an extension servant leadership where I hope to advocate for those who may not have acquired the resources or knowledge to become their own spokesperson.
I would like to meet nonprofit professionals who: are interested in discussing problems and brainstorming solutions, updating me about what they're doing and how it might connect with me, who are looking for volunteers/interns, are shaking up stereotypes, making uncommon marriages in their work such as art and social justice (gasp!) and just simply people who would like to meet me!

Hi! Interesting profile. I like your idea of "uncommon marriages". How was AmeriCorps? I'm graduating in May '08 and I'm trying to find something productive to do while I take a year or two off before I go to grad school, so AmeriCorps may be one of my options.
